Ona Ara LG First-Lady, Deaconess Kolapo Visits Homes, Names Rescued Child “Moses Olorungbogo Kolapo”

The First Lady of Ona Ara Local Government, Deaconess Oluwabunmi Kolapo JP, paid a visit to a motherless home as part of the official naming ceremony of a baby who was found abandoned near the Fawole Primary Health Center, Idi Obi area.

In a statement issued by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, Deaconess Kolapo, following the directive of the Executive Chairman, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, officially named the child Moses Olorungbogo Akannji Kolapo.

Deaconess Kolapo commended the Oyo State Government under His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde and the Ministry of Women Affairs for their policies and structures in place to support and care for vulnerable children, ensuring their well-being and future.

During the visit, the Matron and other management staff of the Homes, assured the delegation that the baby was in good health. They further stated that he would be taken to a primary healthcare facility to complete the necessary immunization process as a newborn.

Other key government officials and well-wishers were also in attendance, reaffirming the local government’s commitment to child welfare and social responsibility.
