I was greatly shocked, and I felt Sad when I received the news of the explosion incident, which claimed the lives of some residents and got many injured on Oyeleye Street in Adeyi Avenue area of Ibadan.
I am highly impressed by the action of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, who ensured there was immediate intervention by deploying all relevant and security agencies within the state to carry out comprehensive search and rescue operations as touching the incident.
I would like to offer my sincere prayers for the victims of the massive attack and extend my heartfelt condolences to their families.
I would also like to sincerely hope the early recovery of those who were injured.
I therefore urged the good People of Oyo State to be security conscious and vigilant as they carry out their lawful businesses.
