In a show of appreciation and gratitude, the youth beneficiaries of the CSS Farm training program in Nasarawa by the Oyo State Government have commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the opportunities provided to them through the program.

The beneficiaries, who graduated from the two-week program, paid a courtesy visit to the Youth Agency Chairman, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana acknowledging the governor’s efforts in empowering young people in Pacesetter State.

However, the CSS Farm training program is an initiative of the Oyo State Government, in collaboration with the CSS Integrated Farms, aimed at training young people in various aspects of agriculture, including crop production, animal husbandry, and agribusiness management.

The beneficiaries, who were visibly excited and grateful, promised to make a positive impact in their communities, using the skills and knowledge acquired through the program.

According to them, “We’re here to show the spirits of appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, for the privilege as beneficiaries of this impactful training skills exposing us to rudiments of agriculture in transforming the economy.”

“We are grateful to Governor Makinde for this opportunity, and we promise to use our newfound skills to contribute to the development of our communities and the state at large,” the beneficiaries said.

In his remarks, Hon. Adebowale Falana acknowledged that the program is designed to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful farmers and entrepreneurs, thereby reducing youth unemployment and promoting agricultural development in the state.

“Start from small; the beauty of entrepreneur is to start from a medium scale. Don’t wait for a white collar Job; register your business through CAC with inspiring business names to cultivate the habit of self-reliance.”

Hon. Adebowale further encouraged the youth saying we are proud of the achievements of these young people, and we commend Governor Makinde for his vision and commitment to empowering the youth of Oyo State.

“Go out there to preach the gospel of Governor Seyi Makinde on his good governance mantra in agribusiness and other sectors of economic prosperity”. Adebowale urged.

He also used the medium to reel out another empowerment program, soft loans targeted for the youth between 18 and 40 years in a couple of weeks.

This development is a testament to the state government’s commitment to empowering young people and promoting agricultural development in Oyo State.
