The People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has continued to attract heavy political weights into its folds as the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has received Oloye Oluwa-kayode Ogunsola into its folds.
Ogunsola is a prominent business management expert, an aviation expert and the family head of Solekan Ogunsola family in Ibadan North East Local Government.
Ogunsola was received by the State Secretary of the Party in Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke in his office and subsequently handed him over to the Ibadan North East PDP chairman, Alhaji Isiaka Fatokun Abuye.
Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke while welcoming Mogaji Ogunsola into the Party assured him of equal opportunity as other existing party members.
In his address, Mogaji Ogunsola said he joined the PDP because the party represents prosperity and progress for the people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large.
He said the transformational leadership style of Engr Seyi Makinde as a key motivation for his joining the PDP. He said under the leadership of Engr Makinde, Oyo State has witnessed unprecedented growth in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture and economic development which position the State as a model for good governance in Nigeria.
While receiving him, Alhaji Abuye said the entire party members and stakeholders in ward 1 and Ibadan North East Local Government are not only happy to receive Mogaji Ogunsola but also ready to accept him as one of their own.
Ogunsola was received in the presence of key party leaders, including the State Youth leader and the Acting PRO, Micheal Ogunsina, the Ibadan North East PDP chairman, Alhaji Isiaka Fatokun Abuye and the Local government Party secretary.
