Popular Newscater and Broadcaster, Ajibola Akinyefa, widely known as Bàbá Olomi, has announced his departure from Lagelu 96.7 FM, Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a heartfelt message addressed to the management, staff, and listeners, Ajibola expressed deep gratitude for the opportunities and support he experienced during his time at the media house.
An authority in Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort confirmed that Akinyefa has joined Ilaji FM 91.9, Akanran, Ibadan.
“I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the management for the opportunity to be a part of this team. Your guidance, support, and trust have been invaluable to me,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the bonds he formed with his colleagues, he added, “To my colleagues, I am grateful for the memories, laughter, and late-night productions we shared. Your professionalism, creativity, and commitment to excellence have inspired me every day.”
Ajibola also took a moment to thank Lagelu FM’s loyal listeners and partners for their unwavering support and feedback, which he said fueled the team’s passion for broadcasting.
As he moves on to the next chapter of his career, Ajibola assured the Lagelu FM community that he would forever cherish the time spent at the station and looks forward to maintaining connections.
