Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State is currently engulfed in celebration as the Executive Chairman, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, and his family welcomed a bouncing baby boy into their household.

The news of the new arrival was shared by the happy father, Engr. Olatunji, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, bringing excitement to family members, friends, and political supporters of the council boss.

Olatunji also confirmed that both the mother, Hajia Balkis Olatunji, and the newborn are in good health.

In a message forwarded to Westernmirror.com, Olatunji expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of a healthy child and safe delivery.

“We are overwhelmed with joy and grateful for this blessing. My wife and the baby are doing well, and we appreciate everyone who has sent their prayers and warm wishes.”

The announcement has since been greeted with an outpouring of goodwill messages on social media and within the local government.

Some of his political followers described the new addition to the Olatunji family as a sign of good fortune for the local government area in the new year.

The naming ceremony of the baby boy is expected to take place in the coming days according to Islamic rites, with dignitaries, well-wishers, and party faithful anticipated to be in attendance.
