As the world welcomes a new year, filled with promise and opportunities, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government,
Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (Omu Yes), has extended his warmest felicitations to the people of Ibadan North East Local Government, both home and abroad.
In a release signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman encouraged the residents of Ibadan North East LG and its environs to reflect on the past year, appreciating God’s blessings and the progress made so far.
He urged them to celebrate the occasion with happiness and thanksgiving while hoping for a prosperous New Year.
“As we begin a new year, I enjoin you all to recommit to our shared values of community, hard work, and resilience,” Hon. Akintayo said.
“Let us strive to build a more prosperous, peaceful, and united Ibadan North East Local Government, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”
The Chairman also took the opportunity to commiserate with the people of Iso Part market over the recent fire incident that occurred in the area.
He expressed his sympathy to the victims and assured them of the local government support in this crucial time.
Hon. Akintayo extends his felicitations to His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, wishing him a happy and prosperous New Year.
He appreciated the Governor’s tireless efforts in transforming Oyo State and pledged to continue supporting his vision for a greater Oyo State.
The Council Boss reiterated the local government’s commitment to doing better in its second term, promising to deliver more impactful projects and programs that will improve the lives of the people.
Hon. Akintayo also appreciated the prayers and support of religious leaders in the local government, urging them to continue praying for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Ibadan North East Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Furthermore, the Chairman expressed his gratitude to all his well-wishers, political functionaries, party members, and leaders for their support and encouragement throughout the year.
The Council Boss also seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to the entire staff and management of Ibadan North East Local Government,
including the legislative council, supervisors, special assistants, traditional council, market officials, community leaders, and all the good people of the local government.
“I appreciate your tireless efforts, dedication, and commitment to our collective vision,” Hon. Akintayo said. “Together, we have achieved significant milestones, and I look forward to an even more successful and impactful year ahead.”
