Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo extols all-inclusive administrative style of Engr Seyi Makinde

The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has applauded the Executive Governor of Oyo, Engr. Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde for running the all-inclusive government with the priority being accorded to persons with disabilities in his administration.

Ido council chairman made the commendation during the inauguration of the newly appointed supervisors and Special Assistants to the local government among which there is a person with disability.

The Local Government vice chairman, Barrister Oluwashina Olayemi, who presided over the oath-taking on behalf of the chairman, advised the newly sworn Supervisors and Special Assistants to see their appointments as opportunities to contribute their quota to the development and well-being of Ido local government, not to enrich their pockets.

Earlier in his words of admonition, the People’s Democratic Party chairman in Ido local government, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola, called on the newly appointees to form a synergy with the existing political structure in Ido.

He added that their indifferences should be maturely handled without escalating into a crisis as there has never been a complaint between the elected political functionaries and other appointees they met on the ground.

In his words of appreciation on behalf of the other appointees, the newly sworn-in Supervisor, Mr Oladokun Akinkunle Wasiu commended the leadership style of Engr. Seyi Makinde and appreciate Hon. Sheriff Adeojo led administration for the warm reception given them, he promised on behalf of others to uphold the unity and peace in the local government.

Other newly sworn-in members are; Mr. Fapetu Stephen Adedayo, supervisor; Mr. Oladokun Akinkunle Wasiu, supervisor; Mrs. Olayiwola Opeyemi Jumoke, Special Assistant, and Mr. Ibeh Chukwuma; John, Special Assistant.
