The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government who doubles as Oyo State Algon chairman, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele Lajuee has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde on his 57th birthday anniversary and rejoiced with Christian faithfuls on Christmas celebration.
Hon. Sanda expressed joy at the significance of the governor’s birthday as it concides with the day the whole world is celebrating our Lord Jesus Christ, saying it is a testimony of the love of God for the governor.
“Although the governor is celebrating this year birthday on a low key due to recent stampede that happened at the children funfair at Islamic High School, Bashorun. We pray to God to console the bereaved family and give those sustained injuries quick recovery”.
The chairman appreciates some of the great turnaround the governor has impacted on the people of Oyo State in terms of infrastructural facilities and social amenities to people across Oyo State which aims to ensure good standard of living despite the hardships across the nation.
He further used the medium to charge christian faithfuls on the preaches of Christmas, tolerance and love urging them to be more prayerful in this trying period.
The council boss on behalf of the entire people of Egbeda local government prayed for more gracious years, wisdom and understanding for Governor Makinde.
