The Executive Chairman of the Ido local government area, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has made good on his promise with the distribution of solar-powered lights to all the security posts as pledged in the last Peace and Security meeting.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo’s pledge to install solar panels light in all the security posts was fulfilled barely a week after the pronouncement at the December edition of the local government Peace and Security meeting that he would illuminate all the security posts in Ido before Christmas.

While distributing the solar lights to the security operatives for the onward installation in their respective stations, the chief of staff to chairman, Hon. AbdulAzeez Yahaya who stood in for the chairman, implored the Security operatives that he would want them to double their efforts as 2025 is around the corner.

He equally charged them to be on the lookout for those who would want to cause chaos by taking other people’s possessions to celebrate Christmas and New Year at all costs.

In her appreciation message after receiving two units of solar-powered lights for her station, CSP Grace Akinseyinwa, the DPO Eleyele, described Hon. Adeojo as a man of his word and a promise keeper who promised and fulfilled it in less than a week. She prayed on behalf of the other beneficiaries that the God of light will continue to shine upon the life of the chairman and all that belongs to him.
