The Director-General Liaison office for Abuja and Lagos, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has commended His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the successful commissioning of the first phase of the Oyo State Independent Power Project.
This groundbreaking achievement is a testament to the governor’s unwavering commitment to transforming Oyo State into a hub of economic growth and development.
Dr. OTOPE noted that the 11 Megawatts Independent Power Project is a game-changer for state, providing uninterrupted power supply to critical infrastructure and impacting the lives of thousands of citizens.
“This project is a shining example of Governor Makinde’s vision for a prosperous Oyo State, where businesses can thrive, and citizens can enjoy a better quality of life.
“I must commend the governor’s administration for its tireless efforts in driving economic growth, improving infrastructure, and promoting transparency and accountability in governance.
The Oyo State Independent Power Project is a clear demonstration of the governor’s leadership and his ability to bring about positive change in our state.
“It’s on record that Governor Makinde’s administration has already made significant strides in infrastructure development, including the completion of several road projects, such as the Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road, Oyo-Iseyin Road, and Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road. These projects have not only improved connectivity but also opened up new areas for economic development.
“As we celebrate this milestone, I urge the good people of Oyo State to continue to support Governor Makinde’s administration as we work together to build a brighter future for our state.
