The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye has sent his condolence message to the family and Akinyele Muslim community over the death of prominent Islamic scholar Muideen Ajani Bello.
Hon Akinleye’s condolence message was contained in a statement issued by his personal assistant Mr Oladimeji Ibrahim and made available to the newsmen on Friday.
According to the Chairman, Late Muideen Bello was not just a scholar but also a mentor whose exemplary actions are worthy of emulation.
The statement reads:
To the esteemed family of the Late Muideen Ajani Bello, the Muslim community in Akinyele Local Government, on behalf of the Local Government, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of this extraordinary individual.
Late Muideen Bello was a shining example of piety, wisdom, and compassion. His life was a testament to the values of Islam, and his teachings continue to inspire and guide countless people. His passing leaves a void in our community that can never be filled, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
We pray that Almighty Allah grants him the highest place in Jannah and blesses him with His infinite mercy. May Allah also grant his family and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
As Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, once said, “The passing away of a scholar is like the death of the world.” Indeed, the loss of the Late Muideen Bello is a tremendous blow to our community, and we can only hope to honor his memory by continuing his good work
