Hon. Lanre Sarumi, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the last general elections, has offered his deepest condolences to the Muslim community, Islamic organizations, the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria, as well as the family of the late Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello, following his passing. Alhaji Bello, widely respected as an esteemed Islamic scholar, has left a profound legacy that will continue to resonate with many.

Hon. Sarumi has acknowledged the significant contributions Alhaji Bello made to his community and the broader society. His dedication to Islamic teachings and his unwavering commitment to the spiritual and moral development of his followers have left an indelible mark. Alhaji Bello’s wisdom, humility, and devotion will surely be remembered for generations.

Describing the loss as an irreplaceable one, Hon. Sarumi highlighted that the nation has lost a man whose life was dedicated to the service of Allah and the upliftment of the Muslim and his community. The values and teachings that Alhaji Bello imparted to those around him remain a beacon of light, guiding many in their religious and personal journeys.

Hon. Lanre Sarumi then prays for the peaceful repose of Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello’s soul and calls upon all Muslims to continue to honor his legacy by upholding the ideals he cherished. May Allah grant him Al-Jannat Firdaus.
