Ololade Liasu Felicitates Indigenes, Welcomes Dignitaries To Ayete National Day Celebrations

Hon Ololade Liasu, former Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government, felicitates His Royal Majesty, Oba Emmanuel Ewuola Okeniyi JP, the Asawo of Ayete Land, the Council of Chiefs, the Senate, the APU Executives, Ayete Day Planing Committee and all Ayete indigenes at home and in diaspora, on the occasion of Ayete National Day celebrations.

The former local government boss also welcomes dignitaries and political bigwigs that are expected to grace the grand finale slated to come up tomorrow, Saturday December 7, 2024. The highlights of the grand finale will include conferment of chieftaincy titles on worthy recipients and the launching of 250 Million Naira Appeal Fund for the completion of Ayete ICT Centre.

The festival which started with a church service on Sunday, December 1, 2024 ran through the week with programmes including press conference, homage to Asawo Palace, environmental sanitation, cultural displays, tourism and sports activities, tour to Abinuoro Hills, evening games, lectures and novelty matches to a Jumat Service on Friday, December 6, 2024.

The grand finale of the 7-day festival slated for Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Baptist High School, Ayete by 10:00am will have in attendance dignitaries and political bigwigs across Oyo State.

They include Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), the Chairman/CEO of Ilaji Sports and Resorts and Dr. Olusola Ayandele (Eruobodo) as Chief Launcher and Chairman of the Day respectively.

The celebration will also have the distinguished presence of Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, and Dr. (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, as Father and Mother of the Day respectively.

Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju (Ibarapakan), Member of House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, and Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide (Odidiomo), Member of House of Representatives representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency will be at the event as Chief Guest of Honor and Special Guest of Honor respectively.
