Breaking: Makinde To Commission Aregbesola’s ‘Ona-Baba-Ona’

The Government has announced that the commissioning of the completed dualisation of Stadium-Testing ground -Ilesa garage road will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, December 04, 2024.

A statement by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, said the completed road which was started during the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, will be commissioned by the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.

“The dualisation project completed by the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke is to be commissioned by the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday, 4th December 2024.

“The commissioning is to complete the Osogbo ring road started by former Governor Rauf Aregbesola,” the statement read.

Osun Defender reports that the road which was almost completed before Aregbesola left office, was abandoned by his successor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola.
