Ibadan – Hon. Waheed Akanbi (Biiro), former Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat, has congratulated Chief Bayo Lawal, a chieftain of the People Democratic Party in Oyo State and an ally of Governor Makinde on his 70th birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available to Eagles’s Sight News,Biiro described Chief Lawal as a remarkable leader, whose dedication to public service has been inspiring. “Your leadership skills are top-notch, and you’re a father, mentor, and true loyalist of Governor Seyi Makinde,” Biiro said. “I acknowledge that you have been following Governor Makinde’s footsteps, and your commitment to his vision for Oyo State is commendable.”
He praised Chief Lawal’s distinguished career in public service, noting his remarkable achievements as a former Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, as well as Commissioner for Trade in Oyo State.
Biiro also commended Chief Lawal’s instrumental role in the administration’s efforts to drive progress and development in local government in Oyo State.
“Your exemplary leadership skills, dedication, and commitment to the development of Oyo State are qualities that are worthy of emulation,” Biiro said.
He prayed for Chief Lawal’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength as he celebrates this milestone birthday.
