Otunba Seye Famojuro, Double T, Other Bigwigs Present As Olufade Commissions Idumota Gate Agodi Womai/Powa Ultramodern Shopping Complex In Ibadan North

In a significant development for the economic landscape of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the Executive Chairman, commissioned the Womai/Powa Ultramodern Shopping Complex, named Idumota Gate.

The complex, which mirrors Lagos’s iconic Idumota Market, promises a wide array of goods and services akin to its namesake.

The event witnessed the attendance of prominent figures, including Otunba Seye Famojuro and Chief Babatunde Tijani, known as Double T.

In his welcome address, Mr. Akeem Olatunji, the Head of Local Government Administration in Ibadan North local government, highlighted the complex’s alignment with Governor Seyi Makinde’s four-point agenda, emphasizing its economic impact.

He credited Governor Makinde for his approval, calling him a pivotal driver of the state’s economic turnaround.

Double T lauded Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for his dynamic leadership, describing him as young, vibrant, humble, and loyal.

He also praised Governor Makinde’s intellectual capacity and commitment to value-driven governance, particularly in infrastructure, security, health, and timely salary payments.

Chief Amusa Eleruwere, Ekefa Balogun of Ibadan land, echoed these sentiments, commending both the governor and Hon. Olufade for their transformative contributions to the local government’s landscape.

He likened Olufade to a local government replica of Governor Makinde.

Hon. Ademola Ojo, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, underscored Governor Makinde’s ubiquitous impact and the conducive environment he has created for investments in Oyo State.

Dr. Mrs. Doyinsola Ayo-Sonubi, Chairperson of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) Oyo State Chapter, expressed gratitude to various stakeholders for their roles in realizing the complex, pledging continued support.

The developer in charge of Womai City assured uninterrupted power supply and a harassment-free environment at the complex, thanking Governor Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro and the executive chairman of Ibadan North local government for their support.
