The Wife of Oyo state Governor, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde has officially declared the 2024 BCOS Father Christmas show open.
The official declaration was made today at the premises of The Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state (BCOS) by her Excellency Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, expressed her delight at being part of the event, celebrating the true Spirit of Christmas.
Mrs Makinde encouraged children to remember that Christmas is not just about receiving gift and decorations, but also about giving and sharing with others.
She further suggested sharing gifts with friends in need or simply offering kind words or smiles to less fortunate.
Mrs Makinde acknowledged the efforts of parents to make their children happy despite the country’s economic challenges, she prayed for God’s provision and blessings upon them.
Mrs Makinde, however, commended the BCOS team, led by the Chairperson, Chief Mrs. Dotun Olaitan, the management, and the 2024 Father Christmas committee, for their hard work in organizing the event.
She urged everyone to think of those less fortunate and extend a helping hand.
As the show begins, Engr. Makinde invited everyone to celebrate the values of love, compassion, and generosity that define Christmas.
With her declaration, the 2024 BCOS Father Christmas Show is now officially underway, spreading joy and festival cheer to all participants.
The BCOS Father Christmas Show will run until December 24th, offering numerous gifts to attendees.
As a special treat, Engr. Makinde brought gifts for the first 100 Children present.
