The Free Medical Outreach, spearheaded by Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), has kicked off with remarkable enthusiasm in the Akinyele and Lagelu Local Government
The initiative, aimed at providing essential medical services to underserved communities, witnessed an impressive turnout from residents eager to benefit from the free healthcare services.
The first leg of the outreach took place on Monday at Moniya Market in Akinyele Local Government, attracting a large crowd of residents who came to take advantage of the free medical consultations, screenings, and treatments.
The following day, the outreach continued at Oyediji Market in Lagelu Local Government, where the response was equally overwhelming.
Residents expressed their gratitude for the initiative, highlighting the critical need for accessible healthcare in their communities.
The outreach not only provided immediate medical assistance but also raised awareness about various health issues affecting the local population.
During the outreach events, beneficiaries voiced their admiration for Jubril Dotun Sanusi, urging him to consider running for the 2027 gubernatorial election
Many attendees expressed their belief that leaders like JDS, who are genuinely dedicated to serving the public and improving the lives of their constituents, are essential for the progress of the state.
A common sentiment echoed among the crowd was that individuals blessed with the capacity to serve humanity, such as JDS, should take on greater leadership roles.
“Good people like him, who have been blessed for humanity by Almighty God, will not steal public funds for personal interest,” remarked one beneficiary, emphasising the need for integrity in leadership.
Meanwhile, Jubril Dotun Sanusi expressed his gratitude for the turnout and the opportunity to serve the community.
“This outreach is just a small part of my commitment to the people of Akinyele and Lagelu. I believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, and I will continue to advocate for the wellbeing of our communities.”
“The JDS Free Medical Outreach is part of a broader vision to address healthcare challenges in the local government, and it sets a precedent for more community-focused initiatives in the future,” he said.
