SWEF AWARD:” Im Resolved to ensure More Empowerment for Women – IYA PINEAPPLE

The strong political leader in Egbeda LG,Chief Mrs Jumoke Lawal,fondly addressed as “Iya Pineapple” has assured the womenfolk ,that she is resolved to engage in more Empowerment of women ,within and outside Egbeda LG Area.

Making this disclosure ,was during the official presentation of plaque of Award by Southern Women Empowerment Forum (SWEF), as the Matron of the group of respectable and vibrant women from.all over the Southern parts of the country ,United to promote Empowerment of women ,with various schemes.

Mrs Jumoke Lawal advised that women should be ready to get fruitfully engaged with productive activities,that will make them earn revenue ,to cater for their families ,as good firm of support fif their husbands .
“Gone were the days when women waited for their husbands to be solely financially responsible for the needs of the family”-the newly awarded patron stated.

The prominent politician advised women to be virtuous in their conduct,be supportive to their family and keep their integrity,while participating in politics .Chief Jumoke Lawal said the group frownw at situations,where women are exploited and taken advantage of,by the male counterparts.

“Iya Pineapple” lauded the overall leadership of Dr Mrs Adebakin and the state leadership under Mrs Fafowora ,for their genuiness ,to uplift the honour and pride of womenfolk generally.

It will be remembered ,that as parts of activities of SWEF,good number of women were empowered with different Empowerment items on the official day of inauguration at Jogor Centre ,few weeks ago.

Hon Sikiru Oyedele Sanda ,the Executive chairman of Egbeda LG and Hon Sunkanmi Babalola,the member of Oyo state House of Assembly representing Egbeda Constituency stated that the Award was a pride to Egbeda LG and deserved honour to Chief Mrs Jumoke Lawal .

Other speakers at the venue of official presentation of plaque lauded the various communities to humanity by “Iya Pineapple* severally in the past and encouraged her to do more.

Mrs Jumoke Lawal dedicated the award to all Egbeda LG women and stated that she’s more resolved to engage in fruitful activities to alleviate the present economic quagmire,that has asphyxiated Nigerians .
