As the Senior Special Adviser and Ambassador to the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D (Presidency), I, Ambassador Dr. Idowu Olugbenga Adewumi, extend my heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Alao John on his prestigious appointment as the Presidential Spokesperson for the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Headquarters.

Comrade Alao John’s appointment to this critical role is both timely and well-deserved.

He has been a steadfast leader within the student movement, exemplifying unparalleled dedication, resilience, and commitment to advancing the interests of Nigerian students nationwide.

His immediate past role as the Coordinator of NANS Southwest Zone D was characterized by a remarkable track record of advocacy, collaboration, and service to the student community.

His leadership brought about significant achievements that positively impacted the welfare of students across the Southwest geopolitical zone, ensuring their voices were heard at all levels of government and educational institutions.

During his tenure as Zone D Coordinator, Comrade Alao John demonstrated strong leadership and administrative prowess.

He successfully led multiple campaigns on student rights, improved student welfare, and defended the interests of the student body on critical issues.

His innovative approach to student engagement and ability to unite diverse voices within NANS Zone D fostered an inclusive atmosphere that championed positive change.

His new responsibility places him at the forefront of student advocacy at the national level, where his influence will undoubtedly be felt across all zones and tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

He will serve as the chief communicator of the association, conveying the concerns, aspirations, and demands of Nigerian students to the appropriate authorities, while also ensuring that NANS remains a strong and unified voice on all matters affecting students nationwide.

This new appointment reflects the trust and confidence the entire student body has in his ability to continue serving with distinction.

Comrade Alao John has proven time and again that he is capable of delivering exceptional results, whether through his proactive policies in NANS Southwest or his broader involvement in the affairs of NANS Headquarters.

His wealth of experience, strategic insight, and commitment to student advocacy will undoubtedly strengthen the association’s leadership as it navigates the current challenges facing Nigerian students.

On behalf of the entire student community in the Southwest and NANS Zone D, I extend my sincere congratulations to Comrade Alao John for his exemplary service as Zone D Coordinator and for his new appointment as Presidential Spokesperson.

His success is a reflection of hard work, perseverance, and a deep passion for student welfare. I am confident that in this new capacity, he will continue to excel and contribute significantly to the growth and progress of NANS.
