The National Association of Certified Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, to present a request regarding the provision of free healthcare services by the board as part of the Association’s activities in marking its one-year anniversary in the state.
Dr. Fagbemi expressed his appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the importance of ANAN’s request in this crucial time.
He assured them that the board is willing to support ANAN’s anniversary initiatives, recognizing the significance of collaborative efforts in promoting healthcare and community development.
However, Dr. Fagbemi advised the association to formalize its request in writing to enable the Board to process it accordingly.
This would ensure that the proposal is thoroughly evaluated and implemented effectively.
The ANAN team, led by the state chairman, Dr. S.O. Esanju (FCNA), expressed their gratitude for the positive response to their request.
They also used the opportunity to inform Dr. Fagbemi that he had been selected to receive a state award at the Association’s upcoming State Award Program slated for December this year.
The proposed partnership between ANAN and Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board aims to enhance healthcare delivery and accessibility in the state.
By providing free healthcare services, the initiative seeks to benefit vulnerable populations and promote overall well-being.
ANAN’s anniversary celebration is expected to draw attention to the importance of accounting professionals in Nigeria’s economic growth and development.
The Association’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is evident in its efforts to support healthcare initiatives and community programs.
The forthcoming State Award Program will recognize outstanding individuals and organizations contributing to the state’s development.
Dr. Fagbemi’s award is a testament to his leadership and dedication to improving healthcare services in Oyo State.
