Ibadan North Council Boss, Olufade Swears In Secretary, Oluwafemi Bantu And Assistant Secretaries Shodende, Olaniyi

In a ceremony held at the council office in Agodi, Ibadan, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, officially swore in the new Secretary and Assistant Secretaries of the local government.

Hon. Oladejo Oluwafemi Olayinka was sworn in as the Secretary of the local government and the political head of Irepodun LCDA.

Alongside him, Hon. Nojeem Adewale Shodende was sworn in as the Assistant Secretary of Aare Latosa LCDA, and Hon. Stephen Olaniyi as the Assistant Secretary of Irepodun LCDA.

In his speech, Chairman Olufade expressed his happiness and appreciation for the party leaders, local government staff, and members who attended the ceremony.

He emphasized that Ibadan North Local Government is the leading light of other local governments in Oyo State, stating, “We are the Pacesetter. And whatever we do in Ibadan North, we do it with love.”

He urged the newly appointed officials not to disappoint the local government reminding them that political appointments come with responsibilities different from elected positions. He advised them to stay focused on their duties and uphold the values of their political party.

The oath of office was conducted by Mrs. Olusola Ejiade, Director of Administration for Irepodun LCDA, followed by the presentation of appointment letters to the new Secretary and Assistant Secretaries by the chairman, hon. Oluwaseun Olufade.
