The Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Board held its inaugural and introductory meeting on September 20, 2024, marking the beginning of a new era for the transport sector in the state. Hon. Salami Ibraheem Oladeji Dikko, the newly appointed Chairman, welcomed and congratulated members on board, promising a harmonious working relationship.

Dr. Dikko, known for his transformational leadership, has already made waves in the transport sector. Prior to his appointment, the Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS) faced significant challenges, but under his guidance, the organization was poised for a remarkable turnaround.

The Chairman’s commitment to collaboration and teamwork was evident in his address to the board members. He emphasized the importance of working together to achieve the state’s transport goals.

*Key Objectives:*

– _Transforming the Transport Sector_: Dr. Dikko aims to revolutionize the transport system in Oyo State, making it more efficient and effective.
– _Enhancing Infrastructure_: The board will focus on developing and maintaining transport infrastructure, including roads and terminals.
– _Improving Services_: The PTS will prioritize customer satisfaction, ensuring safe, reliable, and affordable transport services.

Hon. Mrs. Oluwakemi Alabi (Oloriagba1), Board Secretary, signed off on the meeting’s resolution, solidifying the board’s commitment to Dr. Dikko’s vision.
