Oyo state Lawmaker Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT has felicitated with Muslims ummah across the state on the occasion of Hijrah which signifies Islamic New Year calendar.
Hon AKT urged all Muslim Ummah to embrace Islamic new year with hearts filled with peace, minds seeking enlightenment and spirit yearning for Allah’s mercy especially at the nation trying time of hardship.
“The joyful and auspicious day of Hijrah is celebrates annually with special prayers, acts of worship and reflection.
“It serves as a deep and meaningful reminder and the time for spiritual healing and growth, reflecting on the Hijrah significance in Islamic history. The migration of prophet Muhammad marked the establishment of the first Muslim community a Medinah and its symbolizes faith, resilience and longevity in difficult times”. He highlighted
