As the Islamic community marks the beginning of the new year, 1446 AH, the Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, has emphasized the importance of unity in achieving progress in our community.
In his Hijrah message, Dr. Adeniran stressed that unity is the foundation upon which growth, development, and success are built. He encouraged community members to put aside their differences and work together towards a common goal.
“The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) migrated from Mecca to Medina, seeking unity and peace. Let us emulate his example and strive for harmony in our community,” Dr. Adeniran said.
He highlighted the achievements of the Oyo State government in the education sector, attributing them to the collective efforts of stakeholders working together.
Dr. Adeniran urged community members to foster a spirit of unity, cooperation, and mutual support, ensuring a brighter future for all.
“Let us unite for the betterment of our community, and may this new year bring us closer to achieving our goals,” he concluded.
