54 hearty birthday cheers to *Mr Empowerment* the member House of Representatives repping Ibadan South East/North East at the Green Chamber; Hon Abass Adigun popularly known by the cognomen “Agboworin”

The celebrant ,despite his dimunitive physical appearance, is a giant among men,a genuine lover of the common man who has made it his life mission to ameliorate the economic condition of his people

I refer to him as a Misunderstood Giant among men because of the largeness of his heart,his hopes ,aspirations and positive projections for his people.

Whatever his percieved flaws( like we all have ours) Agboworin’s actions/inactions are usually made with the best of intentions

The Honorable member earned my respect when we had cause to discuss my pipeline program for female candidates for elective office,our mutual passion for adding value to the quality of lives lived by our people and sustainable empowerment of our people and my observation that the ministry of Women Affairs & the female demographic is always involved and carried along during the multifarious empowerment programs he has rolled out over time

During our conversations,I could sense that he wasn’t merely paying lip service or chanting political mantras and sound bites like most politicians

Here in the flesh was a politician who is not a man of many words but one who walks his talk and who practices what he preaches

Hon Agboworin is a huge supporter of the female demographic in the state.If he gets a whiff about any program or intervention for women,he reaches out to find out if he can support in any way and for this, we celebrate him.He mos def will be one of the notable personalities celebrated during the forthcoming commemoration of the International Women’s Day Celebration

While celebrating “Agboworin” ,I also seize this opportunity to celebrate my Principal His Excellency GSM,a Head Hunter par excellence,one blessed with the unique knack of replicating himself ie discovering uniquely talented men and women who posses similar zeal & passion for the welfare of their people,who are willing to go the extra mile ( including making personal sacrifices) to make life better for their people and then he facilitates access of these talents to platforms through which they can impact the people positively

The present crop of representatives at the lower chamber of the senate,all products of GSM are largely exceptional

Kudos to GSM for creating platforms for exceptional leaders to emerge

My birthday wish for *Mr Empowerment* is that God grant him many more years,in good health , comfort and successively bigger platforms through which he can impact even more lives positively
