A prominent aspirant for Ibadan NorthWes/SouthWest, Hon. Kehinde Giwa, has joined well-wishers across the globe in celebrating His Imperial Majesty, H. E. Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja FNSE (Arusa I), the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, as he marks his 81st birthday and official coronation.

In his felicitation message, Giwa described Oba Ladoja as “the real Ibadan breed,” a monarch whose life and reign symbolize resilience, selfless service, and genuine commitment to the growth of Ibadanland.
According to him, the new Olubadan embodies the finest traditions of Ibadan’s royalty, combining wisdom, humility, and courage to steer the affairs of the ancient city at such a historic time.

“Oba Ladoja is not only a father to Ibadan but also a leader whose influence and legacies extend far beyond Oyo State. His ascension to the throne is a testament to destiny fulfilled, and his birthday is a reminder of God’s grace upon his life,” Giwa stated.

He further prayed for long life, sound health, and divine wisdom for the monarch as he begins a new chapter of service on the revered throne of the Olubadan dynasty.
“May Kabiyesi’s reign usher in peace, unity, and progress for Ibadanland and Nigeria at large. Long live the Olubadan, long live Ibadanland,” he concluded.
