3SC Chairman Commends Players After 6–2 Victory Over Orire FC, Says “My Doors Are Always Open”

Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami has assured the players of the Oluyole Warriors that his doors are always open for them.

Honourable Salami, who addressed the players on Wednesday morning, after watching them beat Orire FC of Osogbo 6-2 in a friendly match at the practicing pitch of the Lekan Salami Stadium, expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment of the players as the Oluyole Warriors intensify preparations for the upcoming season.

While assuring the players of his readiness to prioritise their welfare, , saying. “Whatever you need, whatever you think is wrong, just talk to me and I will listen, what affects you, affects me, I’m a very approachable person,” he stated.

“I was in Lagos to watch some of your matches but I have not had time to attend your training. Today I said I’m going to make sure I’m here, since they said you have a friendly game this morning.

“To be honest, very honest, I was quite impressed with what I saw and I want us to keep it up and don’t forget what I told you the other time.

“One thing I have come to realise is that putting on 3SC jersey is an honour. I was surprised when I came in and I saw people, instead of going to their places of work, they are here to watch Shooting Stars’ training, not even match, before they go to their offices, it means a lot,” stated the 3SC helsman.

Honourable Salami urged the players to keep working hard for the desired lost glory of the team to return and to make Ibadan, Oyo State, the governor, the people and themselves happy.
