Oyo State stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC), have urged Hon. Aderemi Oseni, representing Ido/Ibarapa East in the House of Representatives, to extend the inauguration of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) executives to other local government areas (LGAs) in the state, especially in Oke Ogun, Oyo and Ogbomoso zones.

The stakeholders, known as “Legacy Group,” believed that the initiative will not only strengthen Oseni’s political base but also enhance the acceptability of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
In a statement issued and made available by the leader of the group, Alhaji Tajudeen Aderogba, the APC stakeholders maintained that by inaugurating ROCOF executives across various LGAs, Oseni will solidify his influence and connection with the grassroots.

“We believe that this initiative will significantly strengthen his political base and foster better relationships within the community. It is essential for building trust and collaboration among party members and constituents,” Aderogba stated.

He further praised Oseni’s dedication to public service, highlighting his avowed commitment to the development of Oyo State.

“His relentless efforts in serving the community have not gone unnoticed. Aderemi Oseni is truly a beacon of hope for our party and our people, demonstrating integrity and a strong work ethic that inspires others,” Aderogba added.
The stakeholders emphasised that strengthening political structures at the local level is crucial for the success of the APC in the upcoming elections.

They encouraged Oseni to take swift action in inaugurating the executives, asserting that such moves will position the party favourably in the state.
“In the spirit of unity and progress, we call on Oseni to prioritise this initiative.
It is not only essential for the party’s growth but also vital for the re-election of President Tinubu, as it will create a solid foundation for our collective success,” Aderogba concluded.
