2025 Ibarapakan’s Third-Term Holiday Lessons Commence in Ibarapa Central/North Constituency

Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has approved the resumption of his free holiday lessons for both private and public senior secondary school students in the constituency.

The free holiday lesson started in 2023 shortly after the resumption of office by the federal lawmaker.

The initiative engages the service of experienced and qualified teachers in the two local government areas that make up the constituency.

The lesson is scheduled to span through Monday, August 11, 2025 and September 5, 2025.

The Ibarapakan holiday lesson lessons aim to keep students both in public and private schools engaged, enhance the academic performance of secondary school students by complementing the efforts of the Oyo State government and prevent them from roaming the streets during the long third-term break.

This year, which marks the third phase of the initiative, apart from classroom activities, efforts have also been put in place to engage the students in practical activities on subjects like biology, physics and chemistry which will run through the last week of the coaching period.

The centres for the free holiday lessons across the constituency are as follows:

1. Methodist Grammar School, Igboora.

2. Baptist Primary School, Idere.

3. Ayete Grammar School, Ayete.

4. Maku Grammar School, Tapa.

5. Baptist Basic School 1, Oke-Ola, Igangan.

While congratulating the students, their teachers and parents on their third-term break, the lawmaker encouraged the students to take advantage of the free holiday lessons to learn from different teachers outside their known classrooms. He also wished them the very best in their quest for knowledge.
