2024 LG Elections: PDP campaign coordinator, Hon. Oladipo projects victory for candidates in Ogbomoso North, South, Orire Federal Constituency

Ahead of the 2024 local government election, the newly appointed coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Oladipo, has vowed that the party would mobilise the people to queue behind the ambition of all the candidates of the party to ensure their victory at the polls.

Oladipo made this statement on Wednesday in his acceptance letter for the new responsibility, which was made available to MOUTHPIECE NGR’s correspondent in Ogbomoso.

He said that the party’s flag-bearers have established themselves as significant players in the political landscape of the Ogbomoso zone and that the people of the Federal Constituency have accepted their candidature across wards.

The PDP chieftain from Ogbomoso South local government stated that Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire Federal Constituency will continue to be great when the right pegs are placed in the right holes, adding that their victory at the poll will affect Ogbomoso zone positively.

He appealed to the people of the Federal Constituency to rally around and vote for all candidates of the PDP in the state in the forthcoming local government elections.

Oladipo, however expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde, his Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, Oyo PDP leaders and party faithful for the confidence reposed on him and others appointed to lead the 2024 local government campaign for the party.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that Oladipo was among the fourteen Coordinators of Federal Constituencies appointed by the PDP leadership on Monday.

While expressing his readiness to collaborate with all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to ensure victory for both the chairmanship candidates and councillors in the Federal Constituency, Oladipo noted that unity is the key to the party’s ability to win overwhelmingly.

He said: “I wish to express my gratitude and sense of duty to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, starting with His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi; Party Executive Committees in the State, for considering me deserving of the new assignment that has been bestowed upon me.

“I am honoured to be deemed worthy of being entrusted with this responsibility by dedicated Party Men. Yes, I respectfully accept this new responsibility as the coordinator of the PDP’s campaign for the chairmanship and councillorship in the upcoming local government elections for the Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency.

“This is a task that requires the cooperation and collective Efforts of the Excos, Leaders, Stakeholders, Youths, Women and the entire Party Faithful across wards in the Federal Constituency.

“Please, let us all work together for a successful campaign. Victory assured.”
