Ido LG CDC Holds First Meeting, Praises Ido Council Boss

The Community Development Council (CDC) of Ido Local Government ably led by Engr. Tunde Salaudeen, held her first meeting for the year 2026 today 15th of January,2026 at the Ido local government Multi-purpose. They commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for his unwavering support to the Community Development Council so far.

In attendance were the Director of education and social services Mrs Ganiyat Dasola Durodola, executive members, Information Unit media crew, CDC members.

The meeting witnessed security lecture by Amotekun Administrative officers,Mr. Owolabi Oluwaseyi.

He delivered lecture on community security, stated that, Security is everyone’s concern, everyone must adopt proactive policing measures such as; always alert and aware of everything in their surroundings, knowing the people around you and their activities, fostering mutual relationships within the community, notifying Amotekun or security agencies of any suspicious activities.

He also addressed concerns on scavenger-related insecurities in communities.

Community Development Council chairman further praised Hon Sheriff Adeojo for his help and contribution to the council, he further appreciated EXCOs in seating as well as members.
